What is a Fairtrade School?
The Fairtrade Schools Award is a campaign that gives pupils the opportunity to develop their knowledge and understanding of global issues and that Fairtrade is the solution for so many farmers and workers in poorer countries.
Our school became the first school in Powys to achieve Fairtrade Schools status.
Fairtrade is an important part of school life
Fairtrade ingredients are used in cooking, in the staff room and at school events. Pupils also learn about Fairtrade in lessons.
